The fields across from us just remind us of how farmers must have faith. It has not rained in so long that I cannot even remember when it did! Early this morning, I heard an unusual sound...it was sprinkling! Even that little sprinkle has perked up the beautiful crop! Thank you, Lord!

A New Field

Again, this year we have the joy of watching the farmers tend the field across from us. This year, what will it be? Not cotton ...sorghum or corn?

The faith of farmers spur me on... Isaiah 28:24-26 "When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually? Does he keep on breaking up and working the soil? When he has leveled the surface, does he not sow caraway and scatter cumin? Does he not plant wheat in its place, barley in its plot, and spelt in its field? His God instructs him and teaches him the right way."

Mission Accomplished!!!

S. set a reading goal and last night he accomplished it! We rejoice! We celebrate with waffles! :)

He did it!

E. competed in the first Rio Grande Valley Home Educators Geography Bee and came out the champion! He has completed the required exam last week to see if he will rank in the top 100 in the state of Texas. If in the top 100, he will compete in the state bee in April! Go E.!
