Lastnight we celebrated S.'s 7th birthday! It is hard to believe! S., we pray that you will grow more and more in understanding and knowledge of the Gospel. We pray that you will fix your eyes on Jesus the Author and Perfecter of our faith. WE LOVE YOU!

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving prayer

Preparation

It is currently 72 degrees F. It doesn't really FEEL like Thanksgiving is next week and Christmas is just a little over a month away.

Here in the Rio Grande Valley we don't get snow or even really a drizzle so have be more intentional about getting into the Holiday spirit. This is a really fun time of the year so we are going to do what it takes to make it special.

We printed out this great Thanksgiving Countdown Calendar from Family Fun.

We going to watch Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving.

We have started by listening to Christmas music on Pandora, while we are doing our school work.

We are going to get out the crafty things to make our personal gifts.

We are going to get ready for our favorite holiday sweets: orange balls, peanut butter balls, chocolate covered pretzels, etc. YUMMY!
